Oil Boilers and Tanks

Heating your home with an oil system is essential for those homes without a mains gas supply usually in rural areas. As a fully OFTEC registered installer we work to the highest standard of oil boiler installation and commissioning.

Oil Boilers just as conventional Gas Boilers are available as heat only or combination oil boilers. Condensing oil boiler models are designed to recycle the heat whereby the exhaust gases are used to pre-heat the water reducing energy consumption costs. Plus with a large range of space saving outdoor models available on the market any issues with internal siting can be easily resolved.

Electric Boilers

At Mathison’s we appreciate that not all homes have a main gas supply available. A solution to this is an electric boiler.

With many manufacturers on the market you can be confident that your home will be heated and have unlimited hot water all year round.

After extensive research of the market and years of experience we are proud to be approved installers of Heatrae Sadia’s market leading products. Their Amptec Flow Boilers enable conventional radiators to be fitted to an electric system offering a compact, efficient and modern heating system for your home. These boilers are accompanied by Heatrae Sadia’s award winning Megaflo Eco range of hot water cylinders giving you unparalleled levels of hot water performance for your home.

As we are fully NICEIC registered this means that all of our installs are fully certificated and completed to the highest standards.

We also offer annual servicing on electric boilers to ensure they remain highly efficient reducing ever increasing energy costs.

Electric Boilers

LPG Boilers

LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) Boilers can offer a viable alternative energy source for rural homes. There are a wide variety of highly efficient LPG Boilers on the market.

On average they can be considerably cheaper to buy, quieter and emit less CO2 than an equivalent Oil Boiler plus they are smaller in size so for homes where space is an issue these can be a great alternative.

As with mains gas, LPG boilers are fully controllable at the touch of a button and are compatible with most thermostatic valves giving you the same level of control and efficiency.

With a choice of being fuelled by an LPG tank capable of holding between 1000 to 2000 litres refilled by tank delivery or being fuelled by exchangeable bottles and cylinders you can decide which source is most convenient for you.
