BRITAIN IN BLOOM is the largest and most prestigious horticultural campaign in Europe. Started in 1963, it has grown to the size it is today due to the enthusiasm and dedication of volunteers in local communities across the country. There are hundreds of communities involved in cities, towns and villages. Portishead has entered for the South West in Bloom competition for the last 20 years. We have been GOLD Award winners in every year since 2008. In 2017 we have been selected to take part in the “Champion of Champions” class in the National competition.
